About Us

TEAL is a Melbourne, FL-based support and service group that began in 2010 as a high school Gay-Straight Alliance club. We've faced many obstacles since then, like retaining members, parental concerns, and opposition from some who feared we would be too controversial. However, in 2016 we were officially recognized at our school as a non-profit, student-run campus and community service organization.

The Everyone Acceptance league strives to make our school and community safer for anyone in the LGBTQ community and for our allies. We provide a respectful, safe space for students to be among peers who are learning to find their voices in our world.
